The countryside around the Miño Valley is so varied that it is equally suited to those requiring a relaxed, lazy holiday, but also has opportunities for those who require active pursuits to find a range of activities from gentle walking to the rigours of white water rafting, canoeing, and other energetic water sports.
Relaxing Activities
There is a range of forest, hill and coastal walks near to and within 15 km of the finca. The air is so pure and water so clean that lichen grows freely on trees and rocks and land and water wildlife is abundant.
Many say that the area is ideal for photography and painting, and birdwatchers have a lot of scope with numerous indigenous and migratory species and a bird sanctuary on the estuary wetlands with a number of observation hides.
Coastal and estuary fishing are a way of life, and the Miño and its tributaries full of fresh water species, including trout. Any fresh water fishing must be pre planned to avoid disappointment.
Wine and Port appreciation can be organised, as can one day Spa and Beauty treatments
